These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern access to and use of Skord, the Discord bot and web dashboard operated by Devscor (“we”).
By inviting Skord to a server, using its commands or signing in to the dashboard, you accept these Terms and the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
Skord offers tools for Discord communities, including moderation, auto-mod, levels, welcome, economy, tickets, tags, giveaways, panels/messages and an optional configuration dashboard.
The service is provided “as is” and “as available” in its current version, free of charge unless we say otherwise in writing. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, absence of errors or compatibility with every Discord setup.
Skord is an independent app that integrates with Discord. You must also follow Discord’s Terms of Service, Community Guidelines and developer policies.
Discord may change its API, permissions or policies; that can affect Skord features without being a breach on our part.
The dashboard uses Discord OAuth. You are responsible for the security of your Discord account and for not sharing sessions.
You may only manage servers where you have sufficient permissions (for example Manage Server / Administrator, as applicable). Do not try to access other people’s guilds or bypass authorization.

Skord requests granular Discord permissions needed for its features (send messages, moderate members, manage channels/roles in some flows, temp voice rooms, etc.). We do not require Administrator by default.
If you grant broader permissions than needed, you assume that risk. You can restrict commands and channels from Discord integrations and from the dashboard.
Bot actions (message deletes, timeouts, bans, logs, etc.) depend on the configuration you choose. You are responsible for reviewing that configuration and for the consequences in your community.
Automated systems can produce false positives or negatives. You should supervise use on sensitive servers.
Skord, its name, brand, design and code belong to Devscor or its licensors. These Terms grant you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive right to use the service as intended; they do not transfer ownership of the software.
You may not copy, redistribute or commercially exploit the service beyond what is allowed without prior written authorization.
We may change features, fix bugs, perform maintenance or discontinue parts of the service. When reasonable, we will give notice; security incidents or emergencies may have none.
We reserve the right to restrict, suspend or withdraw access to Skord (including kicking the bot from a server) if we detect abuse, a security risk or a breach of these Terms or Discord’s rules.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the service is offered without implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose or non-infringement. We do not guarantee that Skord will prevent all abuse on your server or that logs will capture 100% of events.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, Devscor and its collaborators will not be liable for indirect, incidental or special damages, lost profits, data loss, reputation or service interruptions arising from use of or inability to use Skord.
Our total aggregate liability related to the service, if any, will be limited to the maximum allowed by law for a free service of this kind, except for willful misconduct or where the law does not allow limiting liability.
You agree to defend and indemnify Devscor against third-party claims arising from your use of Skord, your configuration, content you publish or your breach of these Terms or the law, to the extent permitted.
These Terms will be interpreted reasonably and in good faith. Where the law allows, disputes will first be addressed amicably by writing to [email protected]. Mandatory consumer-protection rules that apply to you still apply.
We may update these Terms by publishing a new version on this page with an effective date. Continued use after publication is acceptance of the updated version, unless the law requires another mechanism.
